Installing 2017 FXSB front wheel on 2001 FXSTD

Hi guys,
Thought I'd drop a line as I near completion of a little project. Wanted to update the front end of the old boy's mint 01 Deuce, with a CVO Turbine chrome wheel and wide 130mm front tire.
Fair bit of mucking around as the Deuce runs a 3/4 axle, 08+ Hogs run a physically different sized bearing and a 25mm Axle.
Playing with spacers, different bearings, etc, finally got it built and ready to roll in. Breakout's have ABS which is another thing to consider when trying to select bearing and spacer widths.
Bought a used Breakout front fender and lengthened and widened the mount tabs for the Deuce fork legs, this weekend will be fitted up as a trial, and then off to paint to match the existing Deuce Fender. Basically want it to look factory, so people have to take a second look. That is the theme with the bike, many hidden upgrades.
Take-off Colorado Custom Renegade 21 is also for sale now - basically new Screamin' Eagle front tire on it. Let me know if anyone is interested (will fit Wide Glide with 3/4" front axle - any softail back from 2006).

Well got it mounted up. Have to say, it makes a huge difference, bike looks a lot more 'modern' in the flesh.. just have to get front fender painted now. Old fella is stoked!

Nice work let us know how it handles once you've got it on the road

Took her around the block to check everything over while waiting for front fender paint. Feels great, slightly heavier on the side-to-side turning, but tracks straighter now i think (heavier gyro feel). Good upgrade if the front feels a touch light.
