Hi Guys, Been away awhile. Still riding but am getting bored with late model Road King. Great bike just needs occasional cleaning. Thats my problem. Hate cleaning and like tinkering. road King never needs anything other than the usual services which I do myself. Have built a couple bikes in the past from ground up. Have the itch to do it again just not quite sure of NSW ADR requirements. I have come across a disassembled 1974 harley with extended front end and hardtail frame and straight pipes. Obviously not stock and the rego ran out in the 90's. It was NSW registered previously as I have checked on line. My questions are: What are ADR requirements for a 1974 bike? It has NO blinkers; straight pipes; and is modified. When I get my Blue Slip what are they going to look for ?? Do i need to install blinkers ? Will I need to find stock mufflers ? Its exactly what I want; a stripped down chopped hardtail with nothing but a headlight and a tail light. Am I going to have to install speedo; blinkers etc etc ? If it has been registered as is before can i register it as it was way back then or will I need to bring it back to some new specification. As the King would be my every day bike would the 74 be eligible for Club Rego being as modified as it is ?? Lots of questions and thanks for any thoughts in advance. Jersey
