I cracked a Fat..cat

    Only about 500m from home a couple of pops and a fart or two from my Fatcat, then BANG! This happens, is it saveable?

    That's some bad luck. Any idea what caused it? They are a heavy system.
    D&D also sell parts/spares, but I'm sure a local fix would be cheaper and faster. 

    Interested to know how you go sorting it.

    d and d make heavy duty pipes, I have a set on a carb Buell, I would have it gas welded back on or tig welded not mig as would crack again.

    definitely TIG, done right that weld will be the strongest part of the pipe...

    If your going to try to claim it under a warranty, getting it welded will void a warranty claim, just be aware of that.
