1157 front indicator socket with one connector removed?

I was looking to get Custom Dynamics Dynamic ringz for the 2012 Sportster Custom. Before ordering I wanted to check the bulbs and connectors used, so I can order the right part. For the front indicators, it looks like someone has taken one of the connectors of the 1157 socket out, so it only has 1 connector, however it houses a 1157 bulb. The rear has 1156 connector and 1156 bulb. Is there an easy way for me to revert it back to being a proper 1157 socket instead of buying them from Harley? The bike is an 1HD... US model imported. I am guessing someone from compliance took that front connector off. Not sure :\  Going to try to take the internal assembly out..is it just slowly prying the rubber off? I guess I will need to check if I have both wires going into the assembly as well if I want the running+indicators.

This is what it looks like.

For sure it was done at compliance , all US models have a 5watt"running light" in the indicator setup

At compliancing it can be "fixed" many ways ,using

    A)"Aussie"spec units

B)splitting /driving out a male/female connector in the loom keeping the US unit but only one filament powered

    C) Cutting one of the feed wires to the 5watt circuit ( brutal but I have seen it many times !)

Finding US spec globes was difficult here for replacements , until I realised some lamp kits came to Aus with US spec 1157A globes and the HD dealers were binning them. I collected a lamp box full , so I'm OK for donkeys

They don't meet "Aussie specs" apparently

Watch ANY youtube/music video with Harleys taken in the US at night and you'll see the running lights.

I myself like them , think they are a safety plus , and I reconnected my own on my 2008 US import CVO in 2011 as soon as it was WA licensed
