I have the SE from HD made a noticible difference to performance and the looks. Go for it. PS before I bought it I looked hard at the V&H but was put off by some of the reviews I read that referenced the a/c breaking off at the elbow! SE Part Number 29400285. 

I was behind a mate when his HD unit broke at speed, Jeeze they don't half bounce like a football, didn't know which way to swerve, no idea how I missed it. 

Did your mate wet himself? His bike must have been a treat to ride minus AC.

We went back to collect it and kept on going. (The filter didn't buckle at all, strong stuff) Bastard didn't seem to notice it was gone or didn't care, but we had been to a couple of country pubs along the way :)
