    Gday all, I'm kermit.
    Got my first road bike recently, a 2005 hugger.

    I've ridden dirt mainly with a bit of road on a dual sport and was looking for a road specific bike. Wasn't looking for a harley but thought it was the best buy out of the bikes I looked at. 

    Was a bit dubious of the HD world and the fandom, but already see why it's so popular. Love the (almost limitless) customisation options. I've already got drag bars, new levers and mirrors etc. to make her my own ??

    Here's my bike... Pretty much stock from what I can tell, except for highway bars and pegs, headlight nacelle and seat/luggage rack. I plan on many mods, probably including a 1250 conversion.

    A great looking Sporty.  Nicely setup with the matching side covers, upgraded seat and backrest.  There's plenty of info on here about 1200/1250 conversions.  I've done a couple myself.

    I actually found this place when I googled 1200 conversion Kingchops. It will be a while before I can afford it but the 883 is still a fun ride.
