    Hi Guys,

I recently changed my front and rear engine mount on my '08 FXD, and since riding it again, I have notice a lot more vibration. Did the front while bike was as upright and level as possible. When I fitted the mounts there was a fair gap between mount plates and the engine mounting bolt sleeves, so I just torqued them up to the set tension, which brought everything together. Any suggestions, please?

If it's in regards to the filing down of the rubber to open a gap between the top of the rubber, etc,... there is more than ample clearance. But if it isn't, then I'll google away. Cheers for the feedback =-]

Thanks for the help guys. Looking to source some steel locally to make the shims up. A fella put up a blog regarding bolt sizes, drill sizes, etc regarding this type of mount... so I'm looking at doing the same. (Funny how they tell you your mounts are shot and you need new ones coz it will vibrate less... and when you change 'em, you could pretty much mix paint on them)

    ;-]
