Howdy from kalgoorlie.. Havent been on here for years.... Bought a 2007 Ultra new and have had it down for a few months just recently. A simple ape hanger job took months due to work and other stuff. Anyway enough of the excuses for why its taken so long to fit the bars. The bars are in and wired up, new inner fairing and support brackets and everything is connected up, no codes on the3 speedo . Theres a new battery in the FOB....... and i cant get past the security system to kick it in tha gutz.
Can any one please give me a bit of direction?

It could be a pinched wired. It can happen after changing bars. Check the wiring to the on/off switch. You might try loosening the right hand controls and and moving them slightly to see if it makes any difference. Also check your fuses and relays.

Thanks Kingchops. I was thinking i was chasing a "self induced" fault as there was no drama when i started the job.i managed to download a manual for a 2006 ultra. Mine is doing a commendable impression of a bike with a TSSM "issue" with the indicators/blinkers flashing a four flash sequence. The manual i have tells me this sequence indicates its a European configuration. There are 4 configurations for four different markets but Aussie is not mentioned in the markets so i assume that we get a European configured unit. Can you please tell me if the procedures for checking out a 2007 model with TSSM are the same as a2006. There is a fair bit of information and innocent, well intended misinformation getting about and its a buggar livin in the bush. Cheers mate. Stay safe.
