Has anyone changed out the stock Fatbob bars to 14" apes and if yes did the cables have to be replaced? I've been quoted by the dealer $2000+ Supply & fit bars, stubby riser & clamp & cables. Cables are almost more expensive than bars!. We're talking the 14" HD Chizel bars.

i have HD 12" apes 4" riser on my 2015 fat bob with braided cables and lines which needed longer than standard. I have been looking into going to 14" apes with the lower risers for a while now and after doing some measurements I think my current cables and lines would still suit the new set up, hope this will give you some insight.
