Just installed a set of progressive 412s on my 48. They're at the preload setting they were out of the box. Finding the ride punishing, when sitting on it they seem to have about 2cms of really soft feeling sag then rock hard (maybe hitting the bump stops?). After getting them installed I felt like I was riding a bobber. Am I hitting the bump stops and need to change the preload setting? If so, what's the best way to adjust without a tool (didn't come with one)?

i found the same when I had my progressive shocks.. went through 2 sets before I bit the bullet and went airbags... best things ive done ...
