Retrieving security code

    Ok so been through the process to retrieve it ( ignition switch on off on off on left indicator 3 times right once) but it just ain't coming up, instead I'm getting the diag mode..
    What am I doing wrong?

    And no PIN IS not the VIN number and yes I have tryed joint I bought it off.

    Do you have the manual Chriso? This was what the Dyna procedure is (not knowing if all are the same or not). My original code was written in there too but been long changed.

    Mine is different 
    Turn run switch to off
    Turn ignition on
    Cycle run switch run off run off run
    Left turn twice
    Right turn once 
    Took me twice to get it to work, youtube video says factory code is either 13131 or 31313, old age I can't remember which.

    Ok got it, followed steps in my original post and changed number to my new number.
    So what I've learnt is that you don't need old PIN to change the 5 digit code just need your fob.
