Triumph Daytona T595/955i

Hi just after some advice from those who may have owned one of these bikes/engines here.
I test rode one of the T595's when they first came out and loved it. At the time i couldn't afford it but i have often thought about them. Only trouble is a i have a conflict about the resurrected Triumphs as there are so many midlife crisis/weekend style guys owning them. Just too popular for me.
But i guess it's the same story as with my Harley, only one model in the entire lineup appeals to me.
Another bonus is they are pretty cheap and most seem to be very well looked after. I guess that's a result of appealing to a limited market.
I'm wanting to know of your thoughts on the bikes if you've owned one, i have done a bit of research about common faults and problems and there doesn't seem to be a lot of pitfalls to look out for. The second hand reviews by writers seem to be very complimentary.
Also interested in the views from owners on the difference between the early T595's and the later 955i's. I have a suspicion the T595's are going to increase in value as there are fewer of them, plus i like the looks of them a bit better.
Trouble being finding a yellow one close to me with low k's and great condition.

Thanks Smokey, very informative answer and i'm glad i asked now.
I do like the original ones, and the yellow is a better colour on the 595's i think rather than the more gold ones.
I'll have a peruse of the forums there and keep an eye on bikesales. There's a nice 955i over in Maclean but it's the wrong colour. There's a yellow 595 up on the Sunshine coast but it's a bit far to travel.

I found mine on Bikesales.com.au. Flew Townsville to Adelaide with a heap of new parts and upgrades I'd previously bought for the black one, bought the bike at a good price due to it being a little neglected but with fairly low ks, spent a week in old mate's garage going right though it and then rode it back home. Hasn't missed a beat.

They seem to float between 5-6k for a decent one with 15-25k kms on them. Is that what you'd say a decent price is?
Nice bike, good location, wrong colour;

Right bike, right colour...a little far to travel...

5K-6K is good. I bought mine for $4000 because of work needed, owner had it advertised for $5000. Had 32,000 kms on it.

Have always loved the look of 595 and 955, very partial to yellow. If had cash, one would be on the top of my list. The may increase in value, but I don"t think so. Wonder what I can sell.....

There's two yellow ones on bikesales in viccie. One is gold paint and the other must be gold plated going by the double asking price.
