Decel pop help

So i picked up a new sb. Had a stage 1 cleaner fitted, freedom performance pipes and a screamin eagle tuner.
The dealer loaded in a map but i have decel popping that is slowly driving me nuts. The dealer warned me about it and said "its just the nature of the pipes"

Another dealer has said its a simple map change that doesnt need tuning just a few minor tweaks.

Is this something i can do to avoid riding 3 hours for a 15 minute job?

    Thanks.

Get tuned by a professional, recommended tuner, not at a dealership. Dealers aren't known for their awesome tuning skills.
My 1st set of aftermarket pipes were short shots and popped a fair bit even with me playing around with the tune a bit myself. After lushly tuned it, no pops whatsoever, just a nice gurgle on big over runs

Once you have completed all your bolt on mods, money spent on a dyno is well worth it.

Thanks for your replies. The dealer im going back to was actually a building and tuning shop who recently became a dealer which is the reason im going to them.
Im definitely keen for some dyno time but im looking to throw some cams at her in the near future so id rather just do that once.

Wouldnt mind stopping the popping in the mean time.

Have a look at this video, he addresses fuel mixtures etc in part 2 near the end in regards to Decel pop etc
Although I have a powervision, I used the principles he states to address a little decel pop I had and it eliminated it.
Its a great video, 2 parts and he details what he does & why very well. If you have the software on a PC it can be done easily and then as others suggested a dyno for maximum benefits

Yeah it's fun having a go at doing it yourself.
But if or when you start spending more on performance parts, real performance parts, (spending thousands) you really should be factoring in the cost of a professional dyno at an independent shop, in to the build budget.

I assume you are talking about Bikeworks?

where abouts in S.A are you? I strongly recommend Neville Lush down at Victor Harbor.
He is top of his game, I am 450ks away from him but have been to him twice with different builds and wouldn't hesitate to go again.
Most of my mates use him too.

Good luck and enjoy your new toy !!

Yeah thats them. Im up in pirie and have definitely considered neville lush. I wouldnt considered doing cams rods and maybe a different head gasket thickness without a professional dyno tune.
I want to have a tinker myself with this basic one for more of an understanding but  i want the best out of what ever cam i choose.
