Website switching to secure connection (SSL)

To further bring this website up to a modern standard, I'm going to enforce the use of secure connections beginning soon. This should be seamless for users. If you want to start using the secure connection right away you can switch the address to:
https://www.hdforums.com.au
Edit: ** Please make sure you include the www, if not the secure connection will not work **
This will ensure that all communications between you and this website are encrypted.

KC, just tried using https://hdforums.com.au but it didn't work. Have I got the correct address?

I got a "your connection is not private" warning when I tried to use the https link to the https://hdforums.com.au
"The security certificate being issued is for www.hdforums.com.au and not hdforums.com.au"
No such issue when I use https://www.hdforums.com.au (but then there wouldn't be since that is what the issued certificate is for).
Slight misconfiguration?

I'm good now. Well done KC.

I can always set up some redirects to automatically redirect everything to https://www.hdforums....

That'd be the easy way (and probably how I'd do it).

I've now re-directed all unsecured traffic (http), to https. All old links and bookmarks will still work, they will automatically re-direct to the main address below. Best to update them to this one:
https://www.hdforums.com.au
** If you manually update old links don't forget to include https and www. in the address like the link above. **
