I am going to attempt to service my 2014 iron my self as im short of funds after having to bury both my parents in a 7 week period. Just wanting to know where is the best place to buy an oil filter and derby cover gasket. Also which oil for engine and transmission? Is it 2 types of oil or do i use the same?. Sorry for the stupd questions

Hi Bob, i manage to do primary Gearbox juat by removing to small round primary chain inspection & don't change gasket, put 900cc in. i like Redline MTL in primary & gear box. but might be hard to find. and i just use the HD 20w 50w not a fan of syn three. i use the old longer EVO big twin filter as it holds more oil.

Serious think twice before sticking Mobil 1 in all the holes.  Its NOT a transmission oil and is marginal/no improvement in the engine if you keep the original oil swap routine.
