You may or may not have seen my tank from other threads. When I bought my bike I thought the decals where a sticker. Turns out the sticker is under the clear coat!

Anyway, the job has been well done but its just not to my taste. At all.

I have some gloss black vinyl wrap coming, 1500mm x 1000mm - $25 ebay

I'm going to give a shot at wrapping the tank. Any ideas or input would be great. Things I am considering and trying to work out include:

- What will spilt fuel do to the wrap?

- Should I remove the tank? and is the tank plug and play? Easy to whip on and off?

- Should I wrap in one sheet?

- Has anyone wrapped anything on their bike before? How'd it come out?

- Tricks/tips?

First long-ish ride will be this weekend, weather permitting and I can't wait to see how the bike does.
