FATVO/FATSO Motor? (Evo bottom, TC top)

    Hey guys, 
    Just wondering if anyone has experience in building a Fatvo/fatso motor?

    The Evo in my FXR is getting a bit tired, and I've got a brand new take off top end off a 96in TC that is currently useless.

    Sputhe, Delkron and Ultima all make cases, with the latter offering case/crank deals coming out to around $3600ish.

    Any drawbacks to this setup? Any major hurdles to be faced when using these cases and the OEM head, like pushrod geometry etc?

    What type of cost would it to build one, and is it worth it compared to an S&S @ around $8ish? (my mind thinks it'd be worth it since its a big difference in price, but I could be missing a lot of expensive bits that are associated with the build)

    I like  Trease Cases the best & Australian made i have seen some new old stock Trease cases at a workshop in Sydney. but don't think they still cast them as would not be a big market for them now. no idea on the cost that would depend on labour charge.
