Elsewhere I have mentioned dealer marked the slipon chrome and fork paint when changing tyre and didn't turn the active exhaust control back on when reverting from big radius to std headers and SE slipons. They also didn't clean the remnants of the old wheel weight off the rim when they changed the tyre. After that I adjusted the belt tension, which was loose, and found the dealer had managed to misalign the wheel when they changed the tyre. Noticeable improvement in straight line stability. As a result slight steering misalignment has gone. Dealer told me there wasn't any when I previously asked them to look at it.
While our local independant Harley workshop, Southern V-Twin, was looking at the tune for me they found that the Automatic Compression Release was switched off. I had wondered what all the banging and clanging was at different times starting the bike but dealer told me it was normal. This is my first Harley so I didn't know any better. Beautiful starts now of course since its turned back on.

Another win for an independent workshop over a dealer.
I had my independent locate a lot of problems that the dealer ignored.
