Anyone own a springer with fat spokes?

After some pics info , what brand of rims etc how much messing around is it to swap them out , i have a 99 FXSTC with a pre 92 factory springer fitted , standard 16 inch rear disc and 21 inch front. Any help would be appreciated cheers.

Nice ,did you have to change rotors pulleys etc as i already have aftermarket discs and PM brakes and my springer has a right side brake.

at the moment just used stock pulley and discs

Nice Bluey , what brand are they did you have to upgrade the bearings mate , they are diamond cut yep?

Got these a few years back think they where called fat daddy 50 spokes got them through rolleys I think they are called yes diamond cut spokes and there is a special rubber band in side the rim to put tubeless tyers on spoke wheel and these wheels weren't cheap

The wheels came with bearings but upgraded the bearings

Yep ride wrights got a price the other day $2200 for just a pair of rims

Those heavy chrome spokes look magic. Do they impact much on the unsprung weight of the wheel and does that even make any difference to the ride on a bike

Sounds good but with Mammouth i think i have to change my pulley and rotors to suit them more $$$ on top another 3-400 , i dont think i have to with ride wrights by the sound of what Bluey says this is where im at , also the springer has a different hub offset to a standard front end so i dont want to order the wrong thing or have to mess with a shit load of spacers to get it right ?

From memory the rims I needed was not on the shelf was made to order in the USA for the heritage springer had to wait a while for delivery
