Had my 2016 Softail Slim for a year now. Why did I wait 25 years without a bike? Yeah, Mortgage, Kids etc. With the SERT, S'E air filter and S&S tapered turbo exhaust its just about where I like it. The Mustang seat added the comfort and love the shove of these twin cam engines. All my riding is pretty much below 3000RPM, Just enjoying the scenery! Just thinking if I wanted a bit more torque low down what suggestions would anyone have for swapping the Cams? Harley Heaven ADL sold me the bike, Service it and I am happy with it all, But, before I ask them , Anyone have any opinions?

Most cams move the power up the rev range rather than emphasizing low end torque but you could try a set of Screaming Eagle 255 cams.
That'll probably be what the shop suggest I reckon.

If your engine is the high output (ho) 103, then your cams are already pretty close to the se255 cam and you wouldn't see much difference. Like was posted above, most cams will put the torque band higher up. If your bike isn't the ho engine, the Andrews 48h would be better than the se255 the dealer will recommend and run better, cooler and give greater run out beyond 4500 rpm

I've been round and round in circles trying to decide on bolt in cams for my stage one 96" Fatbob. I think the 204 se might be the way to go. Heard good things about the Andrews cams, but I'm not sure if there are maps available with my sepst for non se cams and I've just bought the cables to tune it myself, so want to do it properly.
P.S- sorry for the thread hijack!

Supertuner pro only has MAPS ( AKA calibrations !) for Screamin Eagle cams.

And even then NOT for all cam numbers in all model platforms and model years

    204's / 211's / 255's / 259e

As said , if your bike has the stock OEM HO ( High output) cams they are close to 255's anyway

As a point of interest , a good mate of mine bought the last 2016 103 cube Fatbob , HO cams as standard .

It runs better , after quite a few attempts , with the Calibration for 255's in the Dyna platform ( cable throttle y'see !)

Can't stop it decel popping tho' , I have tried like fuckery to no avail..( it's NOT the 255 cal , pops with EVERY variant I've tried !)

If all you riding is below 3000 rpm, I would say just use the gearbox more, change down a gear or two when you think you need a bit more grunt.
They don't mind a few revs but 204 cams and a decent tune will sure get it going better too...

I'm all for changing cams, I've had a couple of different sets in mine with different builds but a lot of my riding is well over 3000 rpm !
