A time will come when it won't run on the current software of whatever year that happens to be as well, it runs ok on windows 11, haven't tried it on the latest update that isn't windows 12 but I hear it really is more or less, what version of windows are you running Retro?

All 5 tuning laptops last updated in 2018 with the last Supertuner Pro release.

Windows level the "latest" in 2018.

    Hope that helps ?

I used one of the "remanufactured" Supertuner Pro race tuner dongles today.

Bike was a 2011 Dyna with a 204 cam ,  headwork and a Two Brothers racing 2 into 1 exhaust.

O2 sensor delete at some time in it's life. It had previously been tuned , by what we didn't know.

Some shops used to do that back then , removing the O2 sensors.

Maybe Power Commander, maybe Powervision, maybe Maximus , maybe it's own Supertuner pro now long gone.

Tuning run went well , took a coupla goes to dial things in. He was complaining of decel pop (it was bad). I put that down to the length of the exhaust system , wouldn't have been 60% of stock length.

    Good stuff 👍
A nice long steep downhill is a good thing to capture decel data, still got be slow on throttle movement to keep the ecm giving you data rather than doing something else but with different speeds and gears you can get most of it, VE tables can look really funky in that area but they want what they want, short pipes can be a challenge 😁, Jason showed me a couple he did years ago on the dyno so I kinda had a heads up there when I came up against it the first time. Anyways I know this isn't your usual way of doing it but thought I'd chuck it in here for consideration 👍

    Thanks Hilly.

For sure not my way, not enough time sadly, I think it's called "time poor"..

That plus I do it from home in the inner metro, lacking in topography changes and places to do 110 Km/H.

I have worked with many 2 into one systems over the years, but this was my first experience of this brand.

V&H big radius 2 into 1 , look good actually, plenty of them in Perth WA. Plus others of a similar length.

The big radius 2 into one isn't the worst pipe to tune, I've done 2, one on a 103 street glide with 37's and one on a softail with I think 211's, he wasn't sure what was in it! I didn't pop the cover to look as he wanted me to use what was stored on the dongle as the start cal as he said it was flashed to suit by whoever did the cam, they both came up nice.
The smallest 2 into one I've had a go at was an Akrapovic on a 103 softail with 204's, it came up pretty good as well. I have dyno chart of that somewhere as he put it in a shootout and sent it to me.
Short shots are tunable, even the decel can be got under control but they are not a great pipe, side shots are surprisingly easy to dial in as well.
You are right about time though, it takes me at least a day and sometimes 2, a dyno is much quicker and more accurate if it's done right, road tuning is a lot of buggerising around, which is fine if you have the time. Turning into novel, sorry lol.

There is an almost unbelievable number and variation of 2 into 1 systems available for Harleys now.

Google Harley 2 into 1 exhaust images and you lose count pretty quickly.

Trouble is (and I know this is eye of the beholder) most all are as ugly as fugg.

The best performers are NOT the best looking no surprise there. An Indy HD mechanic south of Perth "built" his own 2009 Fatbob based Ratbike with an exhaust 2 into 1 cannibalised and cut and shut for ground clearance. Looked like shit but went like fuck !
2013 103 motor, S&S Ezy start cam, V Rod front end etc etc. A real bitza but a 2009 ECM that had to be flashed. He was doing rolling burnouts up my suburban street with coppers living local. I try to minimise that chit no wonder haha..

Some 2:1 systems fuck the ground clearance to boot, especially on hot rodded Dynas

The V&H Big radius 2 into 1 would be the most common on twinkies here. Looks like one V Rod stock muffler.

Tuners don't rate them highly for performance but they are well made and look good on most bikes.

I have tuned bikes with Bassani Road Rage, D&D Fatcat, Supertrapp Fat Shots, Lakester Side pipes (hard to tune) and others.

A contact in the US who ran the Dyno computers for 5 HD dealerships would email me tunes from his Dyno sessions close to or bang on for each build of cam/exhaust setup etc. Saved me HEAPS of trial and error. I have kept all those Supertuner Pro tunes in my laptop tuning files and have used many of them multiple times over the years.

The V&H big radius two into one works well if you use a cam which helps it. Pretty easy to get high teens in HP and 116to 120 tq with a 96 to 106 build.

And that knowledge is why you are on the big bucks 👍😁

Ok it was a bit of a stretch mate but at least you are your own boss, and I think you are worth more bucks 😁

I have a fat time at work as well. Got two superchargers to fit to two V Rods currently and a turbo 117 M8 to retune next week, see if we can sneak it to 230hp. Did a 2024 kwaka H2 last Thursday, a CVO 110 to build a top end as well , when we get some parts. 😎

A Garrett GT2554R. The motor set up is my specs for boosted use. The 107 responds well to boost as well. Did one with a cam/ valve spring change, low boost level, (stock crank) and it did 174hp/165ft easy as... Pulls to 7000. It wants to go more, but the parts might come out.
