Ive noticed my wideglide had started to clunk heavily over every bump now, just a recent thing.. somethings loose and I can find it, sounds big though. Add to that, going through a sweeper at 150kmh yesterday, footpeg just skimming and the bike started to really wobble about badly, like some kind of occilation, like the start of a tank slapper.. never done that before either.

Ive tapped and looked at every little thing on the bike, cant see naything obvious, may not be linked.. dunno.. any suggestions?

Sounds very much like a disintergrating wheel bearing .

Rear ones tend to go first.

Best not to wait till it really lets go fyarskme.

tighten head stem bearing, check tank bolts, no way your mount would go so early on bike

Aren't engine mounts just a case of using a jack to support the engine, undo a bolt, jack a little more, take away rubber, add new rubber, lower jack slightly, do up bolt? I haven't done a rear one though, maybe they're harder?

And check the bottom of your forks, make sure nothing's snapped/snapping and the bolts aren't lose or missing.

Think you guys might be right about engine mounts..
Looks like the front header has been hitting the frame down tube.. bikes under warranty so I'm hoping it'll be covered. Bike has done 12000ks, ill be fairly disgusted if thats what it is though, 12k and destroyed engine mounts? far out.

What year bike are we talking about ?

Dyna engine mounts are a crapshoot, the last new one I got lasted less than 1000kms
    Before it collapsed.
Had to put the old one back in.

Just fitted a Vibratechnics Predator mount, but yet to test ride.
