The preview website has been updated.  I'm going to leave the preview site up from this point forward.  This will allow people to get familiarised with it before the site is switched over.  Take this oportunity to provide any feedback of feature requests.  I've conducted testing from both Android and iOS phones and everything has worked well in my tests.  In particular focus has been placed on testing the forum editor on phones, and all my tests have been successful.  The current site is dreadful on phones, literally unusable to post anything.  So I'm getting really motivated to get the new site up and running.

Some new features:

• Multiple file uploading from the editor has been improved.  You can upload up to 10 pictures at a time.  Pictures are resized on your phone, computer, tablet prior to being uploaded to the site.
• Search has been implemented, although at this stage only contains first page of each thread. Full search index will be done prior to launch.  Search is filterable by forum.  Search no longer uses Google, it's now internal to the site.
• New timezone detection has been done but needs testing.  If you're a registered user, please go onto the new site and post something to see if your timezone is detected properly.
• Site styles have been updated, this will be an onging process.
• You can now subscribe to threads.  Subscriptions are manageable via your profile.
• You can now manage your profile by clicking on your username in the top right of the screen.  You can manage your avatar, email, signature, location, subscriptions and password.

Hi kingchops, just checked out the new site and found that I cannot go to a thread and select a page number all I get is one page forward. Also will you be adding more colour to the pages. Cheers mate keep up the good work.

Cant seem to post anything on the new site. I hit add reply then type in my text, then it only gives me the option to save or cancel. If I hit save there is an error message.

The thing i find annoyingly missing on the current site is to go the first unread post in any thread. While it has the little star to alert you to unread posts in a forum, and the bolded thread titles it doesn't have an icon or 'new' button next to each thread to take you to the last place you were like most forums.

 

Just logged in to the test forum and doesn't seem to have it there either.

 

The thing i really do like (from a large screen desktop) is the simplicity and cleaness of the site. It's beautiful, clear and uncluttered.
