    Terry Hays knows whats up.

Its a very hard comparison because once a shock is sprung and valved correctly for your weight, what differences are you really going to notice between em?

Most differences people feel are spring rates, dampening etc from off the shelf shocks. Those variables sort of disappear when they're both properly setup.

i got Shock treatment to do my forks & costom build racetech shock, was best i've had on a Harley!! a friend got another top guy to custom build Ohlans rear shock and that turned out great too. i wanted mine low as i drag raced a lot as well as street. my friend wanted his high as road fast on country coastal roads. two compleatly different set up's  both big improvement. but still on a Harley so never going to seyt the world on fire.

Ask him if he'd recommend different fork and rear branding ie Ohlins on the back and Racetek on the front. Not like you can tell with the internals.

You didn't consider the Ohlins NIX 22 Cartridge Kit for the front? Or similar.. I have progressives cartridge kit ands it's a huge improvement over stock but the Ohlins has even more external adjustment. I'll be switching to these at some stage.

No, 49mm forks for '06 and up Dyna.
Howard from Motorcycle Metal in the states was modifying 41mm units to fit the 49mm tubes but I believe the actual 49mm kit is now available, I've seen it advertised on a few US sites.

Fox have bought out a new piggyback that is supposedly very good.

I'm quite happy with the premium ride shocks in my Low Rider S but I think these in 13.5 would be next level.
