hi all just need some advice please. i have a 2004 super glide with a wide glide front end and thinking on putting on a bat wing or the windscreen.

called into the hd shop and they think it would look stupid with the bat wing.

what do ou think ????????????

There are a few companies that make replica Batwing fairings to fit dynas, some of them even have options for sound systems with speakers and inner fairing liners.

I saw a very neat Switchback with a color matched batwing fairing but it wasn't cheap.

Around $2000 US with color matching and sound system plus freight to Oz.

Have a look on Memphis shades website, some nice looking batwings for all models. HD shop advice ??

I put the windsplitter on my 07 fatty Shambells not cheap but it works a treat.  On and off in a matter of seconds as well. 

 

 

Very subjective question shambles.
It doesn't matter what you put on the front of that bike, it will make it look ugly.
For what its worth I reckon the batwings are as ugly as a hatful of arseholes.
A total fukin travesty !
I reckon you should go with binnsies idea and stick a welders helmet on your bike.
Should be the cheaper option.

Heres an actual pic of it on the bike.  Ignore the John Deere and the boat.  Not pretty but serves its purpose on a long run.  Used it on a trip to Canberra from Geelong and it worked very well.  

 

 

Have seen a FXST with a Batwing, and it suited it. It looked great ( colour matched). I myself have a 16inch screen on my FXST.
I am thinking with those Ape hangers, The screen would be better suited as will come up and help stop wind hitting chest and arms.
