TWin Cam Oil Leak

Found an oil leak from the stator plug on the front of my crankcase on my '99 Wide Glide. It's not tragic, but just enough to cause an oily film under the bike.

Apart from pulling the primary cover off and looking from the inside, does anybody know a quick fix?

Get some High Temp Black RTV silicon sealer, at auto store ..... Have a search here , or google,, plenty about it .... If your rubber gromment is in good condition this sealer will work .... If you gromment is f-cked ,,, if will probably seal , ( leave it a couple of days to cure),, but if you are ever in the primary area ,, may want to think of replacing .... A bit expensive , as the stator and ,(wire and gromment), come as one unit .....

    Thanks Mark.
The grommet is in good condition. I cleaned the daylights out of it to remove any residual oil. I then used black RTV silicon and pumped it in behind the grommet, using a method my missus suggested. Much better than how I was going to do it????
Left it now to cure, but it looks like it's sealed really well. I'll take it for a blast once the RTV has cured completely and see what happens.
