    Hi all

I would like to know where and how to carry a second helmet ( Open Face )  while commuting on a FXDWG - I have removed the Sissy bar.

    Any feedback most welcome

    Cheers

Seriously, slip your arm through the done up strap till the helmet sits on your elbow.

There are two ways it will go, one is with the face opening forward and the other is with the neck opening forward. One will catch the wind and one will not, i'll let you figure out which.

Haven't had to carry a spare helmet sice i used to take my young fella to school, brings back long ago memories.

Keep it with the spare gloves in the glove compartment...........failing that on your left elbow as explained above.....:)

You can wear the spare helmet  on your elbow, maybe the front wheel bag, or perhaps the rear wheel bag.

Then theres the tank bag, rear seat bag, or you can ask the pillion passenger to carry for you in their bag.

Seriously though, banter and shit stirring aside ( what we do best!) If you have a strap over your seat, just do the helmet up and attach it under the strap. (yes the helmet strap done up under the seat strap).
I have done this before on a big trip no dramas.
If you dont have a seat strap then get or make one up. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Where did the other people come into it?

Best way to make sure you don't get injured is to not get on it in the first place. 100% safe.

Use your words spook. Simple concepts can still be expounded with a limited vocabulary.

I thought i responded in the vein of your jest Spook.

I guess humour is relative, just didn't know it was monopolised.

    Pauly still MIA though.
