Dear Forumites.
Time to "GIVE AWAY" my old trusty nylon water resistant motorbike riding jacket.
Rivet Rainlock "Freeway" Size M (I'm 5'11" in heels, would fit someone male or female in L to XL range)
Bought second hand some years ago. Removable liner, soft armor for elbows and shoulders, waist belt, mandarin collar, draw strings on bottom, heaps of pockets. Washes easily.
It's clean, warm, comfortable and well worn in every sense on the phrase. I've had a great run with it.
PM for further info. Local Adelaide pick up only.
EDIT: OK it's better than just water resistant. It's quite good in heavy wet weather. The material is excellent, just a little sun faded on the shoulders but looks authentic. With the quilted liner in it's very warm and even more waterproof. I think it was owned by one of the royal family. Suit someone you know on a budget starting their motor biking life. You don't need to feel scared wearing it in any type of weather or conditions. Male or female. I think the wife stitched into the lining a couple hundred dollar bills but I haven't been able to find them. IT'S FREE.
Blimey! Hope you did not get trampled to death with slavering punters scrambling to get a hold of the water resistant jacket Steelo after the fresh edit.
For some reason this reminds me of an episode in the 1970's TV show "The Minder", where Arthur Daley is trying to sell water damaged umbrellas.
Steelo, I reckon a local lady who is just starting out riding might be a starter. I'll call her today and get back to you. Her name is Petria and when she gets some more confidence she is going to ride with our local group of reprobates.
I'm gonna bash you spook, and your little dog (s).
