Hi Guys, Not long had my 07 Softail, and its my daily rider... If it rains or when i was it there seems to be large ammounts of condensation build up in my fuel gauge. Just wondering if this is a Standard problem and if anyone knows of repair to be able to stop it.....

Used to happen to my 2007 fat boy too. Annoying but it still worked

Leave her in the sun for a while and it dissipates.

Standard issue on a HD is my understanding. My 2015 Street Bob does the same, and so does my mates Sporty.

'14 Fatbob, builds up in speedo then dries out within the hour. No drama.

I reckon it's partly weather related re: humidity. I live in south-east NSW and don't have any issues with my 2015 Fat Bob getting condensation but after she had a week and a half in Townsville, I had minor condensation in the speedo all the way home. After a week it disappeared. No rain in Townsville while I was there (for something different) nor on the ride to and from.

Didn't cause the bike any issues, though it made me wonder which high standards country can still make bike bits that do this...

    Both mine did it.

The bigger question is does the bling fancy HD guage do it also?
