Hey guys
ive been in the market for a 2 up seat for my dyna for sometime now... i had my heart set on a lucky daves seat.. but the 980 bucks delivered to AUS was just not going to happen...
so i ended up going for a 2 hour drive yesterday to the MCAS Aurban super centre ... spoke to a awesome bloke there who persuaded me into the Builtwell Continental seat..
The seat looked pretty cool and the style i was after the base is made from a ABS plastic which gave it a very light weight feel .. the foam felt firm but thought it would wear in after a few hunderd ks..
at a price tag of $399 i couldnt go wrong so i purchased the seat and started the 2hours drive back home...
Last night i fit the seat and straight away i hated it.. the style is great but this seat exposes all your tank mounting hardware.. At first i thought i fitted the seat wrong.. several hours on several FB sites confirmed thats how the seat sits... I called MCAS this morning and they are happy to give me my money back in store credit or towards another seat...
look at below pictures and you be the judge am i being a little bitch or does that just look like shit ????

Yeah, looks like shit mate. No flo and dont like that seam. I like the look of the Lepera Sillouette though.
And the BareBones with the Pad.
Maybe you can get the Pad to work with your single.
Agree that it looks like the wrong seat
How a seat looks is one thing and personal taste is just that.
What a seat is like to ride with is also important. Did you take the bike for a spin with it on?
I have a C & C Sport tour on my Wideglide, similar style to that one and is extremely comfortable but does sit you back a little over stock. There is a picture in the Show us your Dyna thread.
Hi Limpin
How about this one?

I am a lanky cunt and found the standard seat seemed to push me forward. Found the ideal option on the le pera website. Not a cheap option but nothing decent with these bikes seems to be. The bonus of the website is they have heaps of pictures of the seats on bikes and you can sort of get an idea what they look like and how they differ with what you already got.
Worth a squiz anyway.
