    - what parts are missing
    - how many Kms on the motor
    - do you have a sissy bar and backrest that goes with the bike
    - whats the history of the bike

Nice colour that silver over black combo .

    regards

There's a set of heads no barrels they're no good the pistons are no good there's a set of standard pipes and the standard fatboy seat from an 03 no sissy bar. Needs more than a battery I have a super tuner as well for the bike. The right case is broken and the fly wheel damaged about 50K on the bike

Agreed. It's not a project bike at all in that case, it's a bunch of parts.

Maybe I missed something but how did it arise in this thread or otherwise that it's a stat write-off? If true, this should have been stated at the very outset.

I realize the motor game can be a bit tricky ,,, No doubt there is a cracked weld or something bent in there somewhere, that just wont passed the regs ,,, But looking at the pics,, it looks pretty clean with no tell tale signs of a major dump ... Some where under the $6000 mark it would have had some excited as a nice little project ...... Then again ,, it is what it is .....

I change my previous post parts bike the most expensive part is scrap or garden art by law anless you know some one who builds frames and can get it recertification
Or a aftermarket frame But in any case buy the time you add it up $$$$$$ been down this path before

Not to needlessly weigh in but I always thought "Clear title" meant no money was owed on it. I'm now heaps the wiser, probably so is the OP. Cheers

Fair call I was thinking clear title was owned when I realised I didn't put that it was a stat write off I added it sorry for the confusion.

Glad to see this got the 'benefit of the doubt' from Chopa, the tread highlights the hidden trip rope for the unsuspecting or naïve buyers out there who may swoop in on a so called bargain buy, with regrets later down the track.
Hope you still can move it on simmac18 ?
