hi guys been a while , ran bike last sunday at heathcote hd drags , checked tune first on dyno then , out on strip , pump fuel and pirrelli 200 touring tyre on my old gerl , came home hard at end of track
dyno sheet
Nice numbers, any chance of a better pic of the dyno sheet please.
will do latter , pauly it peaked torque at 4500 rpm , peak hp was at 5400 rpm , very torquey eng
I only got to run my Rocket 111 once, at Heathcote VIC. After driving overnight for a test & tune street meet, it ran a 9.2 sec pass and they wanted to see my compitition license. I didn't have one, so they wouldn't let me run again.
Drove all day back to Adelaide.
The MPH says to me that the bike is capable of a high 9. I'm guessing there's a traction problem? A couple more tenths could be shaved off the reaction time.
as i said , its a pirrelli touring tyre , i think it did a realy good job , only just started to sort out bike letting tyre presure ,when started pushing oil out front breather , so stopped , will pull down and see what caused it , it may only be the breather diaphram , if not at worst ,rings , all simple fixes , habe ran 10.68 years ago when 106 build , now 124 build , every thing 1000+ rpm sooner ,i havent raced at strip for 4 years , i am sure on day would have run 145+ , am happy with top end performance , shifted gears at about 5600 rpm , was fun day guys , will tidy up problems and try another day , but this bike is a full weight street bike , not drag bike , and rider could use some fine tuning as well
nice times bro , did lushy work on this bike at all , hes a wize with them i hear
its all of 340 kg , its fun , 2006 bike 5 speed , on rd just leave it in top gear and screw it on pauly lol ,
