Well, hated school and all tha authority that went with it. Left as soon as i could, got work in tha dairy industry ( Scotland) sorting crates of milk orders for milkmen to deliver and general yard duties. A son of tha boss stole ma bike keys one day , and took ma Yammy RD250 for a joy ride, crashed it, tank dented, clutch lever, pegs snapped off etc, got hold of him tha next day and gave him a smackin, got sacked that night.
Started as an apprentice baker/pastrycook not long after, 4 year apprenticeship, then 8 years in 3 different bakerys during which time, i met tha missus. Got married,applied for emigration to Aussieland, as we both were blown away by tha bi-centennial events on tv.Eventually approved,wanted out of ma trade,got a job at BHP Newcastle steelworks as an operator in steelmaking, got forklift, excavator, front end loader, and 3b truck licence.Two years later, joined a contractor onsite, semi trailer licence, carting scrap metal to steelmaking operations. BHP shut 8 years later, casual truck driving/semi tipper with hymix concrete and boral.Made permanent employee with boral carting gravel/sand to their concrete plants with semi tipper.
Started with Cootes transport 2006, driving fuel tankers statewide, got B double licence, delivering diesel/petrol to servos/mines, Hunter valley, far west/north nsw. On occasion, ACT and QLD.
Always wanted to b a fitter.....................................in a bra shop!!

Left school in 85 got a storemans job at a supermarket and hated it so joined the Army ended up in signals corp . left the Army got a job in a farm supply bussiness doing deliveries/storeman work. Bussiness went bust so spent the next 10 years working for the HOT TUNA surfwear company as a maintainance man. Left that and went working for IPEC as a courier , then driving a truck for ONESTEEL told them to jam it and i am currently an Alcohol transfer technician.
Signs and sticker maker, not much call for traditional sign painting anymore, all computer cut..... prior to that truck driver , machine operator

I have a new ficticious job I've been saving up to use but haven't had a chance yet. I asked my butcher why they had no lambs brains and he said that the abattoirs aren't employing skull splitters. SO...I'm waiting for some uppity person to ask me what I do so I can say "I'm a skull splitter at the abattoir".
