After several years in the wilderness I have now moved back to the Great South East (QLD that is). Looking forward to catching up with some of the locals. I'm so used to riding in a group of one that it might take a while to regain my social graces on the road, but willing to learn if ya all are patient with me.

I've been in Middlemount - which is somewhere near the RSole of the world but without the character. Now back in Clontarf. The big differences are that the roads are great, but the traffic sux big time!

I was just trying to be "different" - (how many late model Wide Glides are out there nowdays?)  

I have been trolling the SE QLD ride forum topics and there are Saturday rides and Sunday rides for this weekend and now I'm confused Sunny Coast or Murwillumbah???  Too many options!  Previously I have only had the option of a 640+ km return trip for the weekend,  or not.

And I hate traffic!

You know, I believe in fate and karma and all that sheet. If I hadn't had a big smash 30 years ago, I would have never had a dicky knee, and thus would not have needed a bike with forward controls, so I would probably have bought another jap bike and would never have had the experience of owning something as great as my "Baby".

So there you go. Maybe it was meant to be.
