I have recently installed a set of cams, SE255 and also had a set of 14" apes on my bike that have been on for a few years and the thing has run smooth even after the cam install.In my wisdom I thought I would replace the apes with the standard bars,risers and a set of 40mm riser extensions just for a change of looks.I also put in a new set of neoprene bushes to replace the stock set.
I have just been for a ride with this setup and the vibration through the bars is unbelievable and definately wasn't there with the apes or I just didn't notice it. It is between 2000 and 2400rpm. I also have a Power Vision and have only done a few auto tunes so deos anyone have any idea's..ie; more auto tune runs to see if that helps,put stock bushes back in or reinstall the apes..Maybe it is just a matter of getting used to the stock bars but I don't remember it being this bad with them before..

neoprenw bushes are for better handling but da vibe has to cum-out somewhere , your older rubber's where more than likley stuffed from da 14" lever ratio that you where use too , you don't feel any more vibe thru da rest of da bike difference only da bars ?
Thanks for the reply...Everything else is fine,just the bars so it maybe just a matter if getting used to them...I may also be labouring it a little since I put the cams in trying to keep it quiet around town,the Bassani Road Rage pipes are really loud especially since I cammed it..
Thanks Hilly...I have put the old ones back in for now but haven't ridden it yet...If it makes a difference I will order some new ones..
i was brought up on fast cast iron early Sportsters from 1979/80
so vibration im use too as long as it is da right type of viberation

Went for a ride today and didn't notice the vibration so it was definately the neoprene bushes...
