Dropped the Granny Glide into the Stealers for the 1st service, (1,200 Km's in 3 days) and they were going to give me a Hoysong 250 cruiser as a loaner No thanks, so I rode away on one of these weired creations.

Actually rides quite well, and you can lean the buggers a fair bit. When you come to a stop, you flick a switch and she is rigid so you don't have to put your feet down. You can just leave the switch alone and shell lean at standstill. Front end grip is very good, and you can push the front quite hard

250cc means you are not left at the lights, and most tin tops are dispatched with ease. Boot space is quite large, and I wore a full face helmet home so knowone would recognise me.

I dunno, I wouldn't mind one to ride around the office, or from the couch to the shed. Kinda reminds me of one of those Segway things

That's funny Lofty..............I have a dilema now. The stealers have agreed to lend me a bike for a week while they fix a problem on my bike (cosmetic). I'm pretty happy about that as last time it cost me a bus trip two and from home. 3 hour trip. I was hoping for a Triumph Thruxton or something in the Triumph range as that seems to be the bikes they have for test rides.
I don't think your loaner would be ideal for the 480km round trip, or maybe it would be..............does it cruise at 110kph I wonder.

Got her up to 120Kmph (on a private test track of course) They don't have too much in there at the moment. They will probably offer you the Hysong 250 cruiser.

When are you dropping off the RoadKing? I have a DL 650 you can borrow if you need a bigger bike.

    Regards Bob
