Darche are now made in China and the quality has gone backwards. Were a good swag when made in Aus with Aus canvas. Most bike swags are just a normal swag with a thin mattress. We use swags a lot mustering ,spend nearly more time in them than a normal bed. Mates  Chineese Darche is coming apart after a bit over 2 years constant use and it leaks, the canvas is nowhere as good as they used to be. If you want a swag that will last and not leak in the rain I'd have a look at a Saul, they are not cheap. A mate and I bought 2 at the same time in 1997 and they have been well used and are still going strong, no plastic clips or zips to stuff up just a simple, practical swag that works.

So much is made off shore now, Kazzmazz source alot overseas & state that on the website ,they claim there swags are still OZ made.

I find it rude that to donate a swag to a homeless person, its $95
but if I want to get one for myself it is $220, or the better one $320

but if it is good enough for the homeless it's good ...................

Forgot to add in my first post. Their service is great, late last year I rang them enquireing about the price of a new swag for a chrisse present and mentioned that I had had one since the 90"s and that the straps were starting to get little radial cracks in them.He looked up his records asked me if the address was still the same and about 10 days later a pair of new straps arrived in the mail at no charge. I call that f'ing awsome customer service, I recon I could have got another 5yrs or so out of the original straps.

I tried one trip on the bike with my big Bourke and Wills swag.
Waste of fukin time and space.
I ended up with a small tent and a decent sleeping bag.
Slept like a baby and woke up in the morning feeling great.

Each to their own. I think there is nothing better than finding a spot away from everyone else, either on your own or with your mates, having a few drinks and a yarn, then crashing in your swag. Don't know, maybe it's just me???
