Hazard lights and kill switch

Riding home yesterday arvo, through rain and heavy fog up the Bulli Pass, Mount Ousley south of Sydney.  I'm soaked through, no rain gear , freezing cold, visibility is only about 15m into the gloom.  People are putting their hazards on, I'm thinking that's a good idea.  I reach out a cold stiff sore thumb for the hazard light and realise just how close it is to the kill switch.

Wouldn't want to hit the wrong one...

Gotta admit I still have to sometimes think about it. I drummed the horn button position into my head since it's one of those ones you don't get time to think about when you need it - when in doubt (horn wise) hitmem all.

that stretch from Appin Road to Helensburgh is one of the foggiest places on Earth lol.

I remember when I first got my licence I had to pull over because it was that thick, visibility ended about 2ft past the front tyre.
