    Hi all,

I'm after some supermegs for my bike and thought i'd try my luck on here before I have them imported from the US.

Anyone got any or know of any in Aus?  I'm in Sydney but would obviously pay freight etc.

    Thanks!

How are you finding the 48 vs the fatboy ?

There was a Supertrapp dealer in Australia, could still be here, should try Rollies in Queensland.

They are a good pipe as tuneable.

Re question 2012 Fatboy, 2017 48, when you get a brand new bike you always find it new and eciting, just a fact.

Yep there is a supertrapp dealer in Oz but sadly it's much more expensive to buy thru them than direct from a retailer in the USA

The Fatboy was a beautiful bike, I must say.  In fact, it was too beautiful.  I was always worried about it.  Where it was parked, what was near it, what bird was pooping on it.   I'm not as precious about the 48, so I find I use it heaps more.

I have a postie bike too (I must add that to the signature block. lol) and I would find myself riding the postie bike because of the effort that was involved with me getting the Fatboy in and out of the garage.  It dawned on me one day that I was actually riding a postie bike when I had a Fatboy sitting in the garage....  Thats when I knew something was up.  It was a good fit for me when I was riding it, but it was a lot of bike when it was standing still or at slow speed.

The 48 is still stock, so its not as quick as the Fatboy (stage 1) was, but its probably pretty close.  Hey, it might not even be slower, perhaps its just that it's quieter..?

I use the bikes to commute and the 48 is just way more manouverable, much friendlier in traffic and runs cooler too.

I've literally put more K's on the 48 in a month than I had on the Fatboy in a year.

Supertrapp a good pipe as tuneable, run better open endcap , but closed endcap works too, more tuning disc's more HP ( to a limit ) less tuning disc's more Torque. but depends what system, like 2 into 1 or dual's as they have both. i have used the 2 into 1 supertrap on a HD in the past.

Yeh i think it's the Harley Torque you feel that excites!!
