my 99 roadking efi went to start everything work up till pressed fob as is the norm. now bike wont disarm and start. replaced batterys in fob .bike battery fine. any suggestions 

Proximity fob was only from 2007 and onwards.

The factory alarm/security up to 2006 did have a central push button fob

Can't help with the symptoms tho' , sorry about that. I'll keep thinking

found the problem. my roadking has after market alarm . it was poorly installed fell onto belt and was destoyed.it was spliced into main loom. friend came to the rescue and removed it from the loom. all good now. back to locking with key now...cheers
