Could anyone please tell me if these mounts are illegal in qld?
Im guessing they are and wont pass engineering on a custom bike?

It is a speedo mount that looks to mount down low on your frame.

any modfication done to a bike its going to be illegal however as long as the speedo works and can be visable i cant see why you couldnt have it ...

 Alway a good topic from state to state what is and is not ? 3yrs ago I bought, road and shipped home ex USA a 2005 roadking,aus complyance done all good to rego here in WA, I got knocked on the first inspection at the inspection centre because on the highway pegs on the crash bar.

 

 

Thanks for the input guys, the bike is being built from scratch e.g prostreet 250 frame, rocker c front end, 88ci twìn cam etc so im haveing a few drama figuring out what will pass engineering inspection as the bike has not yet been registered.

who ever is doing your engineering inspection........do a pre inspection with them........then they can guide you on your progress.......and when your take it back......they can see the modifcations your have made
