Afternoon people , I have Bassani fire sweeps on my Softail slim and run a 117 kit in it. 

Have been issued with a request to have it tested with the EPA , 

After the test I'd like to put the pipe back on but am looking for ideas on how to quiten them 

Down a little so not to draw attention as easily.

spewing mate , did you get pulled over or was it just a surpise letter in the box ?

find a custom motorcycle exhaust shop and they can modify the standard baffles. I recently did this to my side shots as they were too loud for my liking and definitely cop bait. It did cost around $170 but he made them legal. With the type of mod you can open them up a little if too quiet. It's as easy as pulling them out and drilling a few extra holes. Definitely didn't effect the power on my bike.
