I have just purchased a 1974 sporty with a bolt on rigid and springer front. Not currently rego'd any advice on obtaining rego in NSW? I have been told it is a pre-unit model and this may make it eaiser???

 

How long has it been outta rego mate? Do you have to get a Blue Slip?

There's no such thing as a pre-unit Sportster.

Maybe he means, Pre EVO unit Sportster.

That's right all sportsters are unit construction. If it is 1974 it is an Iron Head 4 speed 61 cubic inch
