Ok, so I wasnt happy with the original speakers in my 2016 Street Glide FLHXS, so I decided to upgrade to the Boom! Audio 6.5" Fairing speakers HD part # 76000317 and at the same time installed the Boom! Audio Amplifier kit HD part # 7600278 which goes in the batwing fairing. The difference in the sound level and quality is amazing, I didnt have to drive the speakers so hard with the addition of the amp. I can actually hear the music now at 110kph on a windy day. I had the Dealership do the install as the the system had be to flashed with new software. The amplifier is a 4 channel 300watt and this will allow me to add lowering fairing speakers down the track.
Cost of the kit and installation was $1284 and in my opinion well worth the money spent
