HD Forums Australia Mobile website re-development

I thought I'd give you guys an update on what I've been working on.  For the past few weeks I've been working on a full ground-up re-development of the website and forum.  The current system is way out of date, the system in use is now 10 years old.  So it's well due for a revamp.  The new site will focus on being a "mobile-first" website.  It'll be fully optimised for use on mobiles as a priority.

I didn't want to make any announcements until the new project was well underway, so now is a good time as the new system is well progressed.  Some features of the new system:

    - All forums, topics, posts, images and user accounts will be migrated from the old system.

    - You will be able to use the same username and password you used on the old system.  And all your posts and related data will be brought over.

    - The new system will have a responsive interface so will re-size depending on whether you're using a mobile, tablet or desktop.

    - You'll be able to do multiple image uploads at once.

    - Spam protection will be much better in the new system, with new users being vetted before their posts are public.

    - The bloat of the old system will be gone, so the new one will be much quicker.

Before the switch to the new system, users will be able to log into a preview version of the new system.  This will be up for several weeks before the old system is retired.  So users will be able to provide feedback on the new system before the switch is made.  I expect to have the preview system up within a couple of weeks.

I'll post some screen shots of the new system later today.

As mentioned, here are some screen shots taken from my Galaxy Note 4.  Keep in mind a lot of work has been done on the system itself but the front end designs are very early and the design will change.

Are you able to resolve the issue whereby uploading pics from an Apple product means all your previously uploaded pics are replaced with the new one??

Out of curiosity, will photo upload issues from mobile devices be fixed? In the past I'd go to post a pic on a particular thread, & then any former pics posted by same mobile device would change to most recent pic.
