Did a search and could only find one old thread, but does anyone here have these pipes?

Just purchased for my Rocker and would like some reviews if anyone has owned or heard these. I'm interested to know if they are loud enough to get me in trouble everywhere or if i can ride a little quiet when i need to. The bike has reasonably loud pipes on it at the moment but i'm looking for a little more custom style and some 'bark'. I'm thinking with removable baffles they'll be able to be modified if needed?

    Are they standard HD pipes

    NO

    will they be load?

    YES

will they get you in trouble

I would say YES, if you ride hard

I have simular pipes ST Paul Yaffe crack pipes, I have never been pulled over (touch wood) but if I bump the rev limits, they will wake the dead

I realize they are not standard, i also realize they will be loud or load as you put it.

They are not at all similar to your straight through drag pipes as they have baffles and a re a different design, except to say they are both exhausts.

If anyone does have direct experience with these Mean Mothers i'd love to hear it.

Thanks mate, i've seen a few videos on youtube including that one, but it's really hard to tell.

I guess i'll just wait till they go on the bike.

Picked up the bike today with the new pipes, air filter and tuner.

Just WOW. The pipes are louder than i expected, frankly louder than i wanted.
The sound is mean, more an explosion than a bark or a crack, really nice sound. I reckon you'd have to be real careful overtaking a highway patrol :)

The mechanic said the bike drew constant attention and comments while it was at the shop and he also thought it sounded nice, i thought he'd tell me not to bring it back at pink slip time but he didn't.

I'm really happy with all three components, the RSD Clarity air cleaner sticks out a bit further than i thought (it's a big lump) and restricts access to the brake pedal, but just needs the pedal bent a little to get it out in the wind a bit more. Not that the rear brake works worth a shit anyway.

The tuner is the Cobra Power Pro Black, it seems to do what it's spossed to (auto tune) and the bike certainly feels like it's got some more get up. The decell popping that was there before has gone so that's a bonus.
I'll put a couple pics up tomorrow, got to clean up the newly exposed bits.
