With this good weather why is there no rides being organised?

Its seems people dont like to communicate on here or maybe im the only Canberran left?

I doing big rides all the time, every couple weeks.
Lightning ridge and back last weekend.
Adelaide, Moama home few weeks before that.

I have sent a few PMs to Canberra members before and no takers.
Good bunch of blokes on the NSW forum that I been riding with for years.
Suggest ya have a look there if ya don't mind decent rides.

No coffe shop rides to bungandore and back, won't even start my bike for that shit

Thanks chriso. I was just reading some of the old runs and they sound like a good bunch of blokes.

Canberra Harley is doing a ride to the Loaded Dog pub for lunch in a couple weekends time.

Also check out the Snowy Run that Tim SG puts together in January -- if you are a 'local' you can book into Jindy and meet them for rides in the Snowy's!

Getting consistent time off is an issue for me but I am keen to catch up with blokes if timings work out.

Chriso -- how did the Lightening Ridge run go? After visiting the place a month back, I've found a Opal shop that delivers for every time I put my foot in it.

My last couple of runs out Cotter/Uriarra have been grand except for the damn locust plague that is painting my bike yellow. They are every where at the moment and seem intent on launching up due to the HD's noise/vibration (all theory, noting both rides I get more bugs than my Jap/Brit bike friends). All those insects have been doing over Christmas has been eating and breeding!

Re: Uriarra, there have been some racer boys flying up and down there going 11/10ths. Not bad to watch but I wouldn't want one coming wide into me.

Yep. Went out and ate more Locusts and got a decent coffee at Corin. Managed to scrap the frame too, which was an enlightening experience to the bloke behind me watching the sparks.

I rode to work does that count?!

Took my lower fairings off to cool things down a little

Be mad not to ride to work on ya bike in great weather like today. I average three days a week to work on mine and plenty of days, the bike time is one of the highlights! Plenty of bikes out and about today.
