Shelley said to say thank you for all of your thoughts and well wishes.
She really appreciates you guys thinking of her and she has already sat on and pushed the poor battered old sporty around and I took her back to the accident site to see the skid mark and impact points where the bike did its aerial manouvres.
She knows she is lucky, the engine bars and panniers saved her a lot of road rash and probably saved her legs from worse injury and the safety gear really does work.
It pays to wear a jacket good boots and heavy jeans and have your helmet replaced every couple of years cause if its loose fitting that can be the difference between a brain injury or not getting one.

Shelley is okay DLUX, she has a different outlook since the accident she reckons she is double blonde now.
Her thinking is still a bit foggy I guess it takes a while to recover from a big concussion.
Her road rash is healing nicely she has a few big bruises, shoulder, both elbows, knees etc but she reckons she is getting better with each day.
