hopefully you guys can help me. i have a 2014 sportster 1200. Vance and Hines slip on mufflers, screaming eagle air cleaner, remapped efi with a harley tuner. great under full throttle or no throttle. the problem is in the middle or "partial throttle", like when backing of a little for a corner. bike starts to surge, run rough and even misses. any ideas on how to make this thing apleasure to ride. thanks for your help

Has it just started happening or just start happening after one of the mods or always been like it ?

you aren't in too high a gear for your speed at these partial throttle times?

Bought the bike only recently with the pipes and air cleaner on it. Bike ran a little rough like it needed a tune up.
Had the efi remapped. Dealer recommended it to fix the problem.
Made very little difference to the bike. Still has the problem just uses more fuel.

Dealer tune... there is your problem.

What state are you in? A proper dyno tune worth the $$$.

If the problem is partial throttle then it could be the throttle position switch.

In NSW. The dealer offered to do a dyno tune for around $450.

No, get it to a reputable independent dyno tuner.
The dealerships aren't known for their outstanding tuning.
It's worth it. 900 k round trip for me but I don't hesitate to do it
