i Got 15000km out of the hard compound stock Fatbob tyre. You all know the one. If you don't, then go wheel em out in the rain and comment below...

Went with the Avon Cobras and opted for the wider 200mm rear (as opposed to 180mm). Wider rear came at absolutely no detriment to the pretty good handling that the Fatbob has right out of the box. It's a straight fit, no modding req'd.

The hoops stick like shit to a blanket. You immediately feel the softer compound doing its thing. The tread pattern and curvature are about the closest I've seen to a sports bike tyre on a cruiser. The bike now flicks from side to side with a touch and again, the already nimble Dyna is now even more so.

Riding in the rain is no longer a religious experience, they really do give great feedback and inspire confidence.

Just put around 5000km on them. By the looks of the wear, I'll reckon they'll go about the same again before replacement. I'm keen to give the Pirelli Night Dragons a run next and see the comparo.

Around $550 fitted front & rear from the dealer.

    Highly recommended.

Ive just fitted the Cobras on my Sporty and I'm very happy with them ! The bike handles a lot better with great grip an response both in the wet and dry.

Ive moved to Cobras after two sets on the Night Dragons and the Cobras are by far a better tyre for me. Unless something better comes along, I'll be sticking with these for a while - Love em!

Got the Avon on my rear... and still have Metz on front. Pretty happy with rear, although I did get a shit load of oil on tire when I got a punctured sump so have been cautious since. Currently trying to decide on Avon or Pirelli for next set. Night Dragons have a 100 or 110 for the front so that might be the decider.
